So my thing is, we can Revitalize the Tea cake and allow our young people to know about the Heritage that their ancestors provided for them then, is our responsibility to build upon what we were given

 

Culinary historian this is Etha Robinson was born in the Yazoo Mississippi it was in Mississippi where she attended Tougaloo College had her first paying job in the cotton fields and first group to love old fashioned tea cakes.

 

While working for the Los Angeles Unified School District as a science teacher she used to cheat cake to teach her students lessons on History Community economics self-worth. She sees Sharon tea cakes and stories as part of her role as a community leader.
